Degrees and Certificates

We offer a variety of degrees and certificates at NCMC. If you plan to transfer to another college to complete a four-year degree, you will find that our Associate in Arts (AA) degree or the Associate in Arts in Teaching (AAT) will give you the foundation you need to be successful in your upper division courses. The Associate of Applied Science programs (AAS) at North Central Missouri College are designed to prepare you for employment in the career of your choice. Our NCMC Online programs offer the same high-quality education, from the same experienced faculty with the flexibility you need.

Programs of Study:

Associate in Arts (AA)
NCMC students can earn an Associate in Arts degree (A.A.) which provides a well-rounded educational foundation. The A.A. prepares students to select appropriate majors/career paths and helps them transfer credits to a four-year institution to continue their education. Use the A.A. link to explore degree options.
Associate in Arts in Teaching (AAT)
Associate in Applied Science (AAS):
The Associate in Applied Science degree is designed to prepare a student for employment in a specific occupational area. For most majors, the AAS is not designed as a transfer degree.  However, agreements are in place with several colleges and universities to facilitate transfer of some AAS degrees into four-year programs.
