If you are a new student, you will need to take the following steps in order to complete the admissions process:
- Complete an application for admission
*and submit $20 non-refundable application fee*

NCMC provides special services to allow people with disabilities to participate in NCMC programs and activities. If you need special accommodations for the application, testing, or enrollment process, call Linda Flentje at Ext 1404.
- Send transcripts
Arrange to have your official high school transcript or GED and all college transcripts sent to:

- Take the ACT, SAT, or COMPASS test for course placement
To schedule a test, call Ext 1418 or for specialized placement testing call Marie Moulin at Ext 1282. Test results should be on file before you attend a new student registration day or meet with an academic advisor or counselor. There is no charge for placement testing.
Testing is required for all degree-seeking students who enroll in more than 12 credit hours.
- Apply for financial aid
Students seeking grants, scholarships, Missouri A+ funding, loans, veteran’s benefits or FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) should complete the forms as soon as possible. You can complete the FAFSA form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov ; it will take 2-3 weeks to process. Contact the Financial Aid Office at Ext. 1402. NCMC’s school code is 002514.
