Important information for International Students
(these items must be completed prior to the start of the first semester)
- $100.00 housing deposit (if applicable)
- ACT/SAT/or COMPASS (if English speaking prior to enrollment) may be taken on campus upon arrival prior to enrolling in classes.
- NCMC provides international student health insurance through LewerMark. Students will be billed for mandatory health insurance.(must cover all dates while attending NCMC)
- If currently attending another U.S. college or university, student must request the international advisor at your current institution to submit a complete North Central Missouri College International Student Advisor Report (you may request this form from the NCMC Office of Admissions)
Additional Notes of Importance:
International Scholarships are available and contingent upon students residing in North Central Missouri College residence halls. If a student moves off campus, the student may forfeit their scholarship. Please note that certain agreements with international organizations may require international students who are a part of their program to reside on campus. Please contact the International Recruiter to confirm. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA in order to renew the international scholarship each term. Scholarships are limited.
North Central Missouri College is a member of Study Missouri which is a consortium of more than 40 public and private 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities that can provide opportunities for NCMC’s students to transfer and finish their Bachelor’s degree at top-ranked Missouri institutions in the field of their choice. On average, two years at NCMC followed by two years at a 4-year university or college of the student’s choice equals a 4-year bachelor’s degree.
