If you are unable to make it to the ARC during our open hours, we can still provide you with writing assistance. Please use the Email below to send your paper in for a review by our writing tutors.
Please take the time to answer the following questions in your email, so that we have the information we need to help you! Finally, before you submit your paper, don’t forget to attach your paper (please only send Word documents). If you need help or have other questions, please call (660) 359-3948 Ext. 1334 for assistance.
What’s required in my email?
- Name (First and Last) and student number
- Home or cell phone number (in case we need to contact you)
- NCMC E-mail address
- Date the assignment is due
- Course (name and number) and the instructor
- Give a brief description of the writing assignment (so we know how to help you!)
- Areas of concern you would like us to address
Please allow 48 hours (excluding weekends) for your paper to be reviewed and returned. Generally, it is a good idea to start working with a tutor a couple of days before the paper is due. This allows time for you to make the changes suggested.

Generally, it is a good idea to start working with a tutor a couple of days before the paper is due. This allows time for you to make the changes suggested. If you have a busy schedule, please make an appointment to ensure a tutor will be available. Keep in mind, you are welcome to come in, or submit your paper several times on the same paper.
Tutoring Center Summer Hours:
Online Tutoring Center available for submissions 24/7; however, tutors work during regular hours of operation (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). Please allow 48 hours for response.
