Program: Each camper will have the opportunity to not only improve their game, but to also improve their knowledge of the game. An outstanding teaching staff featuring coaches and NCMC players will emphasize fundamentals along with individual playing skills. Campers enjoy competitive situations with players from other schools. They also become acquainted with people from other schools and with people who can help them progress following high school graduation.

Location: The camp will be held on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Monday through Wednesday, June ????.

Participation: Girls entering grades 5 through 12 for the ???? school year will be able to attend. Campers will be separated according to age/grade and abilities for safety reasons. Special arrangements can be made for younger athletes wishing to attend.

Reservations: Reservations are now being accepted. Applications and deposits should be mailed promptly to ensure reservations.

Costs: Camp tuition is $185, which includes meals, room and board. The cost for girls not staying overnight is $140 and includes the noon and evening meals each day.

Night Games: Campers who might have night summer league games will be allowed to check out for games that night and can check back in that night or the next morning.

Discounts: There is a $10 discount for each previous NCMC camp a player has attended. For example, if a camper has attended two previous camps, they will receive a $20 discount.

If two or more campers from the same family attend, each camper receives a $10 discount off of camp costs.

Coaches sending five or more girls from the same school will receive a $50 refund for their team.

Roommate preferences: To ensure roommate preferences, make sure to include your choice on the registration form in this brochure.

Typical day: A typical day will include 2-3 softball work sessions, running 1 ½-2 hours in length. Meals and recreation activities are included.

Check-in: Registration will be on ????, at 9 a.m. and will last until 11 a.m. Registration will take place in the front lobby of Ellsworth Hall on the NCMC Campus.

Departure: On ????, campers will be able to depart from camp at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Items to bring: Sheets, pillow, pillowcase, blanket, towels, soap, shampoo, plenty of practice apparel, softball shoes, tennis shoes (for indoor use), ball glove, batting glove (if needed), bat (if you have a favorite), and spending money if you want snacks, etc. If not, NCMC will furnish it. If you want to swim (weather permitting) bring your swimsuit. We have a great pool-pizza party one evening at the camp.

Positional work: Players will receive instructions on their individual positions. For example, pitchers will receive special pitching instructions, catchers will receive special catching instructions, etc

Hitting Work: Extra emphasis will be placed on hitting at this year’s camp.

Insurance information: Campers will be covered through the cost of the camp.

Registration and Cancellation Policy:

• Enclose a $100 deposit or the entire camp fee with your application.
• If you send the deposit only, the balance of the payment will be due upon arrival and check-in.
• No refunds unless a camper has a doctor’s signed medical excuse.

Waiver of Claims: I, as a parent or guardian, hereby give my permission for my child to participate in the North Central Missouri College Softball Camp June ????, and acknowledge the fact that she is physically able to participate in camp activities. I hereby authorize the directors of the camp to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I acknowledge that I will be responsible for any costs (through family medical insurance or otherwise) incurred due to sickness or injury to my daughter. I hereby waive any claim that I might have against the NCMC Softball Camp, North Central Missouri College or any staff member at the camp.
