| "The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon. You can always do it better…” Robert Cormier (award-winning author)
The Writing Lab is a positive place that can help you in all stages of the writing process. Don't know how to start? Make an appointment with us. Feeling unorganized? Make an appointment. Don't know what to revise? You guessed it; make an appointment! |
The Writing Lab has a lot to offer:
- Schedule an appointment for a one-on-one writing consultation
- Find help with understanding your assignment, generating ideas, formulating a thesis, or organizing your paper
- Learn to revise rough drafts
- Use computerized tutorials to improve grammar and spelling
- Use one of our many computers to write your paper
|
| Generally, it is a good idea to make an appointment a couple of days before the paper is due. Why? You'll have time to make the changes suggested by your writing tutor! You might also have time to make another appointment for final revision before the paper is due.
