C-Base

The assessment measures General Education and may be used for eligibilty into teacher education programs.

Testing Coordinator

Results are used to evaluate success of General Education core by providing NCMC and comparison data. The skill scores provide more detailed information per curricular areas.

O- Transfer Readiness

Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE)

The CCSSE is designed to provide information on student engagement, learning, and retention for community and technical colleges nationwide.

The results are useful in providing data about student experiences and to better understand how effectively to engage our students and identify areas for improvement.

Provides information about how the employers would rate their NCMC employee in overall preparation for employment.  The employees’ soft skills are also evaluated on work ethics, motivation/initiative, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

ETS Proficiency Profile

ETS Proficiency Profile measures four core skill areas — critical thinking, reading, writing and mathematics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

MDHE uses the Performance Indicator Survey to measure institutional and program performance.

Institutional

Institutional data will be reported and compared with other two-year community colleges. It is used for performance-base funding calculations of state appropriations, and prompts discussions toward institutional improvement.

National Community College Benchworking Project

 

The National Community College Benchmark Project is a comprehensive national data collection and reporting consortium designed for two-year colleges.

NCLEX Results

 

NCLEX is used as a licensing exam measuring minimum competencies for practice compared to state and national levels

Tracks success of the nursing program.

NLN Results

 

NLN is used as an exit test identifying what competencies were mastered and the level of preparation for students entering the workforce compared to state and national levels

Dean of Allied Health Sciences 

The pre-test is used as an entrance exam for student eligibility into the PN/RN program. The post-test is used an exit exam.

 

 O - Workforce Readiness

Professional Certificates (Including industry, FBLA, PAS, awards)

Certifications in Human Resources Professional, Microsoft Office Professionals, Managing Personnel, Marketing  Professionals, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed practical Nurse with Intravascular Certification, and Registered Nurse.
