Upward Bound Summer Program

  About the Summer Program
During the summer students participate in a six-week residential program on the NCMC campus. The summer program is designed to give students an extra jump on the academic year, by focusing on math, laboratory science, composition, literature and foreign language, while experiencing life on a college campus.

Enrichment classes and cultural trips offered during the summer program also give students a well-rounded experience.

Bridge Program
During the summer component, seniors who have graduated high school with Upward Bound have the opportunity to apply to take free college classes and earn college credit at NCMC.

Summer 2012 Dates

May 28th: Summer Program Begins/Move In Day

June 4th: Bridge Program Students Begin

June 29th: Summer Banquet/Move Out Day

July 9-12: Summer Cultural Trip
