What is mandatory to test in this center?
Student’s identity will be verified by valid photo ID: driver’s license, school ID, military ID. STUDENT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TEST WITHOUT A VALID PHOTO ID.

What are the hours of the testing center?
This schedule excludes holidays (library closings will be listed on our website).

|Monday through Wednesday||7:30 am-9:00 pm|
|Thursday||7:30 am-6:00 pm|
|Friday||Testing center will be CLOSED to NCMC testers EXCEPT for midterms. Only Pearson testing will take place on Fridays.|

Do I have to schedule a test time?
No. Walk-ins are always welcome, but PLEASE make sure you allow time for test to be completed BEFORE testing center closes.
What can I bring into the testing room?
Your instructor will fill out a form stating what you are allowed to bring in the testing room. Examples: calculator, scantron, pencil/pen, etc.
Are there items I can’t bring in the testing center?
The following items are NOT allowed in the testing room: CELL PHONES, backpacks, coats, hats, purses, electronic devices like headsets and laptops – unless designated by instructor. Secured lockers are provided.
How will I be proctored?
Video and audio surveillance is active at this testing center. Your testing session will be recorded.
Q: Can I take a proctored test from another college in your testing center?
Yes, you may use our testing center once it’s been approved by your institution. Please contact Shellee at 660-359-3948 ext. 1335 to make this determination.
Note: There will be a $10.00 fee. You can make payment at the cashier’s window in Alexander Student Center by check, cash, or credit card. You can also pay over the phone by calling (660) 359-3948 ext. 1411. If it is after hours (4:30pm-9:00pm), the library/testing center can take cash or check.
