The baseball team at North Central Missouri College in Trenton will be hosting their annual “Winter Warm Up” on Saturday, January 26, 2013. This Winter Warm-up is designed to reunite and honor all Trenton Junior College/North Central Missouri College baseball alumni and celebrate with friends of the program. The event will feature guest speakers, discussion on the current state of the program, introductions of current Pirates and an overall outlook on the program as it continues to evolve. All friends and family members of NCMC baseball participants are invited to attend.
The Winter Warm-Up will begin at 9 a.m. with a pro-style workout of current NCMC players, as well as some possible future Pirates, in the Ketcham Community Center and Derry Indoor Hitting Facility on the college campus. There will be a reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by a dinner at 6:00 p.m. at the Ketcham Community Center. Winning tickets from the baseball fundraising raffle will be drawn at the dinner; two prizes for which raffle tickets are being sold are a 50” LED TV and an authentic, signed jersey from Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. Various other autographed memorabilia from current and past MLB players are also included. Further details on the raffle can be seen on the NCMC Baseball Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/ncmcbaseball.
TJC/NCMC alumni will be recognized at the dinner; therefore, all former Pirates baseball players are encouraged to attend. Please contact Head Baseball Coach Donnie Hillerman at 660-359-3948 ext. 1412, or email@example.com, for more details.
