The new entry sign at the Barton Farm Campus for North Central Missouri College was recently completed. Flag poles, lighting and sidewalks have also been installed.
The west side of the sign identifies the campus, and the east side contains 527 personalized bricks which were purchased by individuals, families, businesses and organizations in support of the signage project. NCMC Development Director Teresa J. Cross expressed appreciation to those who ordered bricks. “We were extremely pleased with our ‘Buy-a-Brick’ campaign. Orders came from all ages of alumni and friends of the College as well as area businesses recognizing the importance of TJC/NCMC to the community.”
Ms. Cross announced that a formal dedication ceremony will be scheduled later this spring to honor those who purchased bricks or contributed in other ways to this project.
