The Board of Directors of the Cameron Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has pledged $10,000 annually to the North Central Missouri College Foundation for student scholarships.
Students enrolled in NCMC’s Allied Health program will be eligible to apply for the funds, which will be divided annually between two or more students. Sophomores in their second year of study at NCMC with a history of strong academic accomplishments may apply, with recipients selected each summer. Those who are focusing their studies in specific areas of healthcare deemed by CRMC to be in short supply may be given selection priority.
Teresa J. Cross, Director of the NCMC Foundation, met with the CRMC Board of Directors on February 26 to present a Certificate of Appreciation. “North Central Missouri College is very proud to be the recipient of this generous pledge from Cameron Regional Medical Center. NCMC has a very strong Allied Health program which provides many skilled healthcare providers for northwest Missouri. We are most appreciative of the CRMC Board’s support of both our program and its students.”
