The first recipients of the new Cross Allied Health Science Scholarship were recognized at a recent reception at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. This scholarship was established by Dr. Albert and Carol Cross of Trenton as a result of their desire to help students achieve their higher education dreams in the field of allied health. Dr. and Mrs. Cross met with the students to congratulate them upon the receipt of their new scholarships.
This is a part of the NCMC Foundation’s new Gifts in Action Scholarship Campaign, which encourages the formation of new endowed scholarships. The minimum contribution is $15,000, which allows $350 to be awarded to a student per semester. NCMC Foundation Development Director Teresa J. Cross commented that Dr. and Mrs. Cross will be able change the lives of countless students in the future who may not have the means to attend college without financial support.
