Fifth New Baseball Player Signs

May 27, 2014

Matt Miles from Knob Noster High School is the fifth signee for the baseball team at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. A 6’3” right-handed pitcher/outfielder, Miles recently threw a no-hitter for Knob Noster in a game against Crest Ridge High School. NCMC Assistant Coach Ryan Suttenfield said that Miles will be a prominent piece of the pitching staff for next year’s team as he has very projectable athletic abilities.

He joins Gordon Arthaud and Smith Kemper from South Callaway, Cody Arella from Orchard Farm High School, and Cortlen Austin from Northwest Hughesville High School as new recruits for the 2014-15 Pirates baseball team.
