Guard from Des Moines to Play Basketball

May 27, 2014

Terrance Bush, Jr., a student at Des Moines North High School, will attend North Central Missouri College in Trenton and play basketball for the Pirates starting in the fall. Head Pirates Coach Steve Richman said, “Terrance led the state of Iowa in Class 4A. He knows how to score and fill it up from the three-point line, giving us an additional scorer from the perimeter. He’s extremely athletic and can play above the rim, too.” Terrance Bush is a 6’1” guard.

His athletic honors include 4A All-State Iowa Newspaper Association Second Team, All-State Sports Spotlight Second Team, All-State Iowa Preps First Team, All-State Des Moines Register Third Team, and All-Metro First Team. Averaging 22 points and 3.9 steals per game, Bush led the state of Iowa. He made 137 three-pointers during his junior and senior years. His community involvement included Freedom for Youth Christian Volunteer, summer camp volunteer, and Booster Club volunteer. His major at North Central Missouri College is undecided.

Previously-signed recruits for the Pirates are Reid Summers from Richmond and Caleb Berry from Lee’s Summit.
