Search for New Coach Underway

May 7, 2012

North Central Missouri College in Trenton accepted the resignation of its women’s softball coach last week, and a regional search is underway to name a replacement.

NCMC has a strong women’s softball tradition.  The Lady Pirates have finished in second or third place in their Region 16 tournament many times and earned a trip to the NJCAA Division I National Softball Tournament in 2004.  Thirty-four players in recent years have been named Academic All-Americans and several have continued their softball careers at four-year universities and into the coaching profession.

The softball coaching position is open immediately.  It consists of  head coach responsibilities for the softball program along with teaching in the physical education and health areas.  It is a full-time tenure-track faculty position.

Interested persons should contact Donna Callihan, NCMC Human Resources Director, for application information at 660 359 3948 ext. 1502 or dcallihan@mail.ncmissouri.edu.  North Central Missouri College is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment with respect to race, color, religion, national origin, citizen status, ancestry, age, sex, genetics, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental disability, military status or unfavorable discharge from military service.
