Tyler LaBreck of Bennington, Nebraska is the second announced recruit for the North Central Missouri College Pirates baseball team next fall. He will join Ely Botkins from Westran High School on the 2014-15 squad. LaBreck is the son of Michele and Gary LaBreck and is an outfielder/pitcher.
At Benninington High School, LaBreck was a four-year letter-winner in baseball. He holds several school records in bases stolen and ERA; he was a member of the second team All-Conference (Capitol Conference) and Honorable Mention on the All-Conference Team (EMC Conference). He was also a member of Team Nebraska at the Midwest Baseball Classic in Chicago. In the classroom, LaBreck was on the honor roll and received an Excellence in Geometry Award. Head Coach Donnie Hillerman said, “Tyler possesses excellent quickness and agility in the outfield as well as good arm strength. He will also pitch for us and his arm slot allows for nice movement on his pitches.” Tyler LaBreck will major in business at NCMC.
