There is still time to sign up to join North Central Missouri College’s trip to Italy, which is set for May 17 through 28, 2013. All members of the public are invited – travelers do not have to be college students. The group will be using EF College Study Tours, a professional tour group which provides guidance for international experiences at a reasonable cost. This organization conducted NCMC’s trip to Italy in 2011.
The ten-day trip will start from Kansas City with the group flying overnight to Venice. Other cities on the travel itinerary are Florence, Assisi, Pompeii, and Rome. Guided tours will be conducted in Rome for the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, the Roman Forum, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Optional excursions will be available to Capri and Pisa.
There are 16 confirmed members of NCMC’s group at this point, and more are welcome. However, there will be a price increase for those signing up after February 8, 2013.
Further details of the trip can be seen at EF College Tour’s website at www.efcollegestudytours.com/1106172 or by contacting Scott Keith, NCMC psychology/sociology club sponsor, at 660 359 3948 ext. 1326 or skeith@mail.ncmissouri.edu.
