Street Closures during Commencement

May 8, 2013

Two streets will be closed for a short time on Saturday morning during North Central Missouri College’s Commencement ceremonies.  An all-time high number of graduates (more than 400) is expected to draw a very large crowd to the college campus in downtown Trenton.

Main and Mabel Streets, from Crowder Road to 12th Street, will be blocked from 9:40 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. to allow faculty and graduates to march from Geyer Hall to the Ketcham Community Center in a safe manner.  After the ceremony is over, estimated at approximately 11:30 a.m., Mabel Street will again be blocked to allow the crowd to exit the KCC and disperse safely.

The Trenton Police Department and staff from NCMC’s maintenance department will be present to assist with traffic flow.
