North Central Missouri College in Trenton has set two summer baseball camps in June at which area youth will have the opportunity to receive instruction from experienced NCMC baseball coaches and players. These camps, to be held at Burleigh Grimes Field in Trenton, will provide players with valuable baseball lessons in areas specific to hitting, base running, pitching, fielding and defensive play.
An all-day camp on Monday, June 16 is designed for children ages 7-12. It will focus on sportsmanship and proper baseball fundamentals. Additional camps are set for Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 and 18, for youth ages 13-17. The focus on June 17 will be on hitting and on Wednesday, it will be on baserunning, pitching and defensive play. Instruction on these two days will be provided on the intermediate and advanced skill level.
The camp on June 16 will run from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. Sessions on June 17 are available for the morning and the afternoon, while the camp on June 18 is morning only. The cost per participant is $35 on June 16 (which includes lunch), and each session on June 17 and 18 is $30 per participant. Call for multi-sibling or multi-session discounts.
