NCMC Nursing Students Donate to “Shop with a Cop”
December 6, 2017
The Student Practical Nurses Association (SPNA) of NCMC’s PN (practical nursing) organization recently participated in the “Shop with a Cop” program sponsored by the Trenton Police Department. As part of their community project for the fall semester, SPNA donated $300 to “Shop with a Cop” to be used this holiday season. The “Shop with a Cop” program provides an opportunity for children in need to develop a positive relationship with a member of law enforcement while having fun.
“SPNA is honored to participate in “Shop with a Cop” this season,” said Jaime Pittman, NCMC Nurse Educator. “We know our donation will be able to help provide children in the area a wonderful experience with the “Shop with a Cop” program and the Trenton Police Department.”
