Science Olympiad takes place at North Central Missouri College

February 6, 2017

Students from area high schools recently participated in the 2018 Science Olympiad held on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri. Teams that participated in the event included high schools from King City, Northeast Nodaway, Maysville, South Harrison, Trenton, Pattonsburg, and Stanberry. Teams competed in science events in the fields of chemistry, biology, engineering, and life science.


The top three teams of the day were first place King City, second place Maysville, and third place Northeast Nodaway. The top three teams will advance to the state competition held at Westminster in Fulton, Missouri. Any individuals that placed first in their event will also compete at the state level.
