Trevor Burrows is NCMC’s Outstanding Student for March
March 7, 2017
Trevor Burrows, an A+ student from Bethany, Missouri (A Gilman City High School Graduate) has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Student for March. Trevor has recently qualified for the Junior Olympics try-out in April at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in the sport of air pistol. Trevor has previously been on three state 4-H teams and has qualified for nationals in muzzle loading, hunting skills, and air pistol.
Trevor chose NCMC because he was able to utilize his A+ to fund his education and the small class sizes were appealing. Trevor also selected NCMC because his credits will easily transfer to continue his education at a four-year institution. “I really like the atmosphere at NCMC,” stated Trevor. “Everyone knows everyone, and the small class sizes are great, especially graduating from a class of nine.”
Trevor is currently pursuing a degree in Natural Resources and enjoys his Biology and Botany classes with Dr. Stull. Trevor said, “I like the labs are hands-on learning. We grow things, dissect stuff, and learn about it with interaction. Dr. Stull is a good instructor and is always willing to help.”
