NCMC’s Associate Degree program is designed for continuing the education of the Radiologic Technologists. Radiologic Technologists, certified by from the American Registry will receive advanced placement. Thirty (30) college credit hours will be awarded, for completion of requirements of the Radiology Technology program at Hillyard Technical School.
Radiology Technologists perform a variety of job performances including but not limited to taking x-rays and administering nonradioactive material into patient’s bloodstreams for diagnostic purposes; producing x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems; they prepare patients for radiologic examinations; and position patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately radio-graphed.

- Students may take BIOL 110 Human Anatomy at Hillyard Technical Center for five credits and BI241 Human Chemistry at NCMC to replace BI240 Anatomy and BI242 Physiology at NCMC for 8 credit hours.
- Starting in 2015, you will be required to have the pre-requisites and the general education courses completed before you can graduate the Radiology Technology program at Hillyard Technical School.
