NCMC’s Associate Degree program is designed for continuing the education of the Radiologic Technologists. Radiologic Technologists, certified by from the American Registry will receive advanced placement. Thirty (30) college credit hours will be awarded, for completion of requirements of the Radiology Technology program at Research Medical Center.
Radiology Technologists perform a variety of job performances including but not limited to taking x-rays and administering nonradioactive material into patient’s bloodstreams for diagnostic purposes; producing x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems; they prepare patients for radiologic examinations; and position patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately radio-graphed.
