Join us! It’s free for all graduates!
In honor of NCMC degree and certificate recipients, the faculty, staff, and NCMC Board of Trustees join with honorees at a pancake breakfast in their honor.
During the Pancake Breakfast, Phi Theta Kappa provides flowers, for purchase, to graduates. A card is also included and graduates are encouraged to thank a staff member, friend, partner, child, or significant other that aided them in their degree or certificate completion. Fun, laughter and fellowship are also included!
The Pancake Breakfast began in 2011 and has been a fun addition to commencement activities. The breakfast is paid through a Default Management grant. Graduating students who have taken out loans for their education are required to complete financial aid exit counseling before they leave the institution. Information regarding exit counseling and paying back student loans is provided during the breakfast, as well as on the financial aid website.
