In honor of North Central Missouri College’s centennial, NCMC will spotlight 100 inspiring stories throughout the academic year. These narratives will showcase the voices and journeys of our alumni, students, faculty, staff, donors, and the communities that have shaped TJC/NCMC’s legacy. Each story is a tribute to the people throughout history who make NCMC extraordinary.

Attending North Central Missouri College marked an important chapter in my journey. At NCMC, I pursued an associate’s degree in Accounting and Business/Management, a path that I actively use in my current role at Farmers State Bank (FSB) in Trenton. The college’s close‑knit environment suited me well. NCMC offers the structure of formal education while still feeling rooted in the same rural values most students are familiar with.
My time at North Central Missouri College gave me the tools to stay in my hometown of Trenton not just as a graduate, but as someone ready to contribute—whether through civic leadership, nonprofit work, or the countless community projects I am actively involved in.
NCMC wasn’t the end of my story; it was the foundation that made the rest possible!
The centennial celebration will continue throughout the academic year, and NCMC invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, and our communities to be part of the story.
