I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the role North Central Missouri College and its dedicated faculty, staff, and supporters have played in empowering me to pursue my dreams. As a proud member of the Class of 2023, I look back with great appreciation on my time at NCMC and the foundation it provided for my continued academic and personal growth.
Since graduating from NCMC, I have gone on to earn my bachelor’s degree in 2024, and by God’s grace, I will graduate with a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, on December 5, 2025. These accomplishments would not have been possible without the encouragement, support, and strong academic preparation I received at North Central Missouri College.
My family, too, has been abundantly blessed and deeply impacted by NCMC. I had the privilege of following four of my children in attending the College, each of whom completed their studies at NCMC and have since established themselves in their chosen careers. My oldest daughter is pursuing a degree in Education; my second daughter is living her dream on a cattle ranch, applying her Agriculture degree and Livestock Management certificates; my middle daughter is a practicing RN currently completing her Master of Science in Nursing; and my son is serving as a Police Officer, using his Criminal Justice degree, while also holding the rank of Sergeant in the Missouri National Guard. The success of each of my children stands as a testament to the life-changing opportunities that NCMC provides.
Unlike previous institutions I attended, NCMC stood apart as a welcoming and supportive environment where I truly felt encouraged to succeed. The College not only provided me with knowledge and skills, but also instilled in me the confidence and motivation to pursue my calling with perseverance. For that, I will forever be grateful.
As NCMC celebrates 100 years of Empowering Dreams and Changing Lives, I wanted to take this special occasion to once again say thank you. My time at NCMC will always be cherished, and no matter where life takes me, I will always be proud to call myself a Pirate above all else.
