My time at North Central Missouri College was one of the most formative experiences of my academic journey. I began at NCMC with the foundation and motivation I gained from the Upward Bound TRIO program, which encouraged me to pursue higher education with confidence and purpose.

During my year at NCMC, I dedicated myself fully to my studies and was proud to graduate with honors in just one year. I had the privilege of learning under instructors like Mr. Stephen Williamson and Dr. Lindsey Oram, who both created engaging learning environments and cared deeply about their students’ success. Their guidance and encouragement helped me strengthen my academic skills and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Beyond the classroom, I was involved in several campus clubs and organizations that helped me grow as a student and leader. These experiences allowed me to serve others, build meaningful relationships, and develop skills that I continue to use today.

After graduating, I transferred to the University of Missouri to continue my education in Health Science with an emphasis in Wellness and Rehabilitation. My transition to Mizzou was both exciting and meaningful, as I became involved with the Christian Campus House, where I have continued to grow in my faith, leadership, and sense of community.

The foundation I built at North Central Missouri College has shaped every step of my journey. I’m honored to share that I have been accepted into the University of Missouri’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program, Class of 2029. NCMC will always hold a special place in my heart as the college that prepared me to chase my dreams with confidence and determination.
