My time at North Central Missouri College from 2012 to 2014 was a truly meaningful chapter in my life. Being from the area, attending NCMC allowed me to stay close to home while still growing into my independence and discovering who I wanted to become.

During my time on campus, I had the opportunity to serve as a Student Ambassador. That role allowed me to represent the college, welcome prospective students, and share my own positive experiences with others who were considering NCMC. It was incredibly rewarding to help others feel the same sense of belonging and opportunity that I felt when I first stepped on campus.
I also worked in the campus bookstore, which became one of my favorite parts of college life. It was more than just a job, it was a place where I connected with classmates, helped students get ready for their classes, and felt like I was contributing to the daily rhythm of campus.

Looking back, NCMC was more than just the place where I took classes; it was where I built friendships, gained confidence, and learned the value of being involved in my community. I’m proud to have been a part of the college during those years and grateful for the experiences that helped shape the person I am today.
