The countdown is on for the 21st Annual High School Holiday Hoops Basketball Showcase, presented by the North Central Missouri College Foundation. The 2025 schedule is attached!
This year’s event is especially significant as it takes place during North Central Missouri College’s 100th year, a milestone celebrating a century of learning, growth, and community impact. Hosting Holiday Hoops on the NCMC campus during this centennial year underscores the College’s long-standing commitment to supporting students and strengthening partnerships across the region.
The 2025 edition of Holiday Hoops will once again take place inside the Ketcham Community Center on the NCMC campus in Trenton, featuring 85 teams representing 44 Missouri high schools.
Games begin Friday, December 19, and continue through Wednesday, December 31, offering seven days of exciting high school basketball action.
“Having good matchups is something we pride ourselves on, and we thank the schools for being cooperative and always great to work with,” said committee member Mitch Dougan.
Each participating student athlete receives a complimentary event t-shirt. Daily admission is $5 for everyone age 13 and up, while children 12 and under are admitted free. A 7-day event pass is available for $30, including a program book. Passes may be purchased at the NCMC Foundation Office; for questions, call (660) 357-6403.

Holiday Hoops remains one of Missouri’s premier high school holiday basketball traditions, with all 49 varsity games played on the NCMC campus. Volunteers assist the 12-member committee in managing the event and ensuring quality a experience for athletes, coaches, and fans.
The mission of Holiday Hoops aligns perfectly with NCMC’s centennial year—expanding exposure to the College, showcasing its campus and facilities, and creating opportunities for students to envision their future. The NCMC Foundation and Holiday Hoops Committee hope the event inspires student-athletes to continue their educational and athletic journeys beyond high school.
