Degrees and Certificates
Planning to start at NCMC and then complete a four-year degree at another college?
We offer four degrees for students interested primarily in transfer. The Associate in Arts degree A.A. is based on Missouri Common Core curriculum, which was designed for maximum transferablity across the state. The Associate in Arts in Teaching A.A.T. will give you the foundation you need to be successful in your upper division education courses. The Associate in General Studies A.G.S. is an option designed to give more flexibility for exploration and electives than the A.A. degree. The Associate in Science allows students intending to major in science, math, engineering, or pre-professional fields the flexibility to take the math and science courses they need for transfer. Our NCMC Online programs offer the same high quality education, from the same experienced faculty, with the flexibility you need.
Interested in preparing for a specific occupation?
The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) programs and certificate programs at North Central Missouri College are designed to prepare you for employment in the career of your choice. These are not specifically for transfer, but agreements are in place with several colleges and universities to facilitate transfer of some A.A.S degrees and coursework into four-year programs.
