Pathways from RN to BSN

Aspen University

North Central Missouri College ADN graduates will be able to attend Aspen University’s BSN (Completion) with a 10% discount on tuition. Program is completely online and the total program cost is less than $9,500 including books & fee’s. Students can also make monthly payments of $250 per month interest free. Program is CCNE accredited and starts every 2 weeks.

Chamberlain University

Offers RN-BSN, RN-MSN, FNP and DNP programs 100% online. North Central graduates earn a 15% tuition discount. Students may also begin taking BSN classes before graduation as part of the “Jump Start” program.

Columbia College

Students can complete up to 81 credits at NCMC, then transfer to the Associates to Bachelors (A2B) program and complete a BSN with an additional 42 credits taken at Columbia College. Completely online, no clinical requirements. Accelerated program that has 6 8-week sessions/year.

MidAmerica Nazarene University

Offers a 20% discount when students transfer within one year of completing an Associate’s Degree and a 10% tuition discount when they transfer after one year of finishing an Associate’s Degree. Online and on-ground options are available.

Missouri Western State University

Early Accept Program where students may apply and enroll in the program during their last semester of the PN-ADN program and take up to 6 credit hours of dual enrollment coursework. Students can create flexible, personalized schedules based on their previous coursework and needs. Courses are offered in an 8-week, online format to allow for maximum flexibility with work and life. Nurses who work full or part-time at Mosaic Life Care, Liberty Hospital, North Kansas City Hospital, or University Health previously Truman Medical Center have the opportunity for additional discounts up to 20%.

Northwest Missouri State University

Students can complete coursework in as little as 12 months. 100% online and is 30 credit hours in length with affordable tuition of $8,670. Tuition is the same for in-state or out-of-state students. Six start dates each year and course are 7 weeks in length.

Ottawa University

Classes are offered in 8-week sessions. Flexible schedule and fully online. Students can transfer up to 80 credit hours in to the program. Transfer advantage option is offered for NCMC grads which includes 40% off online tuition (equates to $299/credit hour) and a waiver of the application fee. Students can begin their BSN coursework while concurrently enrolled in NCMC’s PN to ADN program with nursing program approval and a minimum GPA of 2.5

Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences at Rockhurst University

Students may be accepted and begin the RN-BSN program with SLCHS in their final semester of the PN to ADN Program. Students can take a 2 credit hour Transition class with SLCHS towards their BSN requirements. Those students will be granted a tuition waiver for the costs related to this course. Students enrolling in the SLCHS RN-BSN program within 90 days of graduation and the start of the program will receive a preferential tuition rate of $250/credit hour each semester while maintaining a load of 6 credit hours per term.

Western Governors University

WGU allows students to move more quickly through material the student already knows. 84% of graduates finish within 24 months. Tuition is charged per 6-month term rather than per credit and costs $3,225 a term. Monthly start dates and lower-division courses may be cleared through transfer credit.
