NCMC recognizes your journeyman credentials by awarding 30 credit hours toward the Associate in Applied Science in Applied Technology. Through the NCMC + UCM Direct Connect Partnership, students also benefit from a seamless pathway to continue their education beyond NCMC. The program is designed for flexibility and success, offering a streamlined admissions process, dedicated advising, and a hybrid format that combines in-person and online learning while you complete remaining general education and elective requirements.

Please follow the steps below to admission at NCMC:
- Apply Online
- Submit any official high school or HiSET/GED Transcript and College Transcripts
- High School/GED (HiSet) Transcript
- Call your high school counselor and ask them to email your transcript to [email protected] .
- Have you taken any college courses while in high school?
- If you took Dual Credit or Early College courses in high school, ask your counselor to confirm. If you did, you must request an official transcript directly from the college that provided the course.
- Have you taken any college courses after high school?
- You must request and submit official transcripts from the college, even if you didn’t finish, dropped, or withdrew from the classes. These transcripts must come directly to us from the institution to remain official. Contact the college for instructions; most use third-party services like Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Students coming from Penn State complete Step 3.
- Students taking classes with University of Central Missouri – we will be able to get your transcript through our existing partnership.

- Let Us Collect Your Penn State Transcript for You
- Download & print the Authorization Form
- Fill out the form completely and sign it
- Take a picture of it or scan it
- Email the picture or scan to [email protected]
If you have completed a course within the past three months and wish to continue your education, please contact Jason Helton at [email protected] to confirm your next steps.
If you previously started or finished the application process but did NOT immediately end up enrolling in a course, please use the following steps to update your account.
Example: You were enrolled in a course; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, you were unable to attend before the class started.
- Apply Online – quickly complete the current application again.
- You do not need to resubmit any previously accepted transcripts.
If you were previously accepted and have taken a class from NCMC, but have recently sat out for a semester but less than 3 years, please the following steps to quickly and easily update your account. You need your previously issued NCMC Student ID# and password.
- Complete the Returning Student Entry Form . Log in using your NCMC Student ID/password. If you need any assistance, email [email protected] .
- Have you attempted or completed other college coursework, besides classes at University of Central Missouri, since last attending NCMC? If so, submit your transcripts to the Office of Admissions.
What’s Next?
- If you are missing any Transcripts, you will receive a Missing Document Email detailing what Transcripts we have Received and what we still Need. When all transcripts have been received and the admissions process is complete you will receive an acceptance email.
- You will be pre-registered for the upcoming course.
- A brief orientation session is planned for the first day of class.
