Ashley Bonnett, NCMC Bookstore Associate of Retail Operations, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for October. Ashley is from Galt, MO (hometown Meadville, MO) and has worked at NCMC for about two years. She is an alum of NCMC and holds an associate’s degree in general studies.
Ashley describes her job as entertaining, ever-changing, and fun. In her position, she has helped set up a Square terminal so the bookstore can take mobile payments and sell Pirates gear at more events. In the future, Ashely would like to make course materials and Pirates apparel as current and easily accessible as possible. She is also looking forward to the new bookstore in the student center, which will have numerous updates, new items, and technological growth. When asked about her favorite thing about NCMC, Ashley said, “Our Pirate Crew (employees) are simply the best!”
When Ashley isn’t at work, she attends her kids’ activities and relaxes at home on their small acreage. She also enjoys deer hunting and being with her family.
