Aubrey Galbraith from Hamilton, MO, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Student for March. Aubrey is studying diagnostic medical sonography and plans to graduate next year. After graduating from NCMC, Aubrey plans to serve on a mission with her church, work in the field of medical sonography, and start a family.
Aubrey is a member of the NCMC Dance Wave team and Student Support Services. When asked about her favorite class, Aubrey said American History with Instructor Joseph Barbosa at the Savannah Campus, saying, “Instructor Barbosa is super fun, and he turned class into interesting discussion instead of just lecture. It made it easy to learn, and he is a really supportive instructor.”
When asked why she chose NCMC, Aubrey said, “I decided on NCMC because it was close to home, and my mom went here. My favorite thing about NCMC is the people. Everyone is so helpful, welcoming, and kind.”
Each month, a student is nominated by a faculty or staff member to be featured as an Outstanding Student based on their dedication to educational success, attitude toward learning, and hard work in their field and activities.
