North Central Missouri College Foundation announces recipients of the Nancy Ball Book Scholarship. Sixteen recipients were awarded a $250 book scholarship in honor of Nancy Ball’s gift to the NCMC Foundation. Recipients were selected based on their involvement on campus, recommendation by a faculty/staff organization sponsor and a 250-word essay.
“This is the first time that the NCMC Foundation has offered a book scholarship to students,” commented NCMC Director of Development Alicia Endicott. “Books can be a large expense for students and this was an additional avenue to offer them support. Nancy was a nontraditional student with limited resources. Therefore, this is an excellent way to honor her generosity and help NCMC students.” All NCMC Foundation Scholarship recipients are required to write a thank you letter prior to their award being dispersed.
NCMC Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and donations are tax deductible. For more information on the NCMC Foundation contact Alicia Endicott at (660) 357-6403 or at [email protected] or visit us online.
