The North Central Missouri College Foundation is once again offering dual credit scholarships to area high school students currently enrolled in an approved NCMC Dual Credit course. This one-time scholarship assists eligible students with NCMC tuition expenses, helping make college coursework more affordable while students are still in high school.

Funding for the dual credit scholarships is provided through the Jack N. Young, Mildred M. Young, Noble J. Young, and Myra A. Young Dual Credit Scholarship, as well as the Phil and Connie Hoffman Dual Credit Scholarship.

“Through the generosity of our donors, students are able to take important steps toward their college goals while still in high school, easing costs and building momentum for long-term success,” said Alicia Endicott, Executive Director of the North Central Missouri College Foundation. “Each year, the Scholarship Committee is inspired by students’ goals and achievements and is proud to steward donor support in ways that directly advance student success.”

Eligible dual credit students can view information about our scholarship applications. As part of the application process, students must submit an essay of 300 words or less addressing the following topics:

  • How NCMC dual credit courses will assist with future educational and career plans and provide financial benefit
  • Academic goals, including plans for continued education and intended career path
  • Qualities, experiences, or achievements that set the applicant apart from others
  • Involvement in organizations, volunteer service, employment, or personal circumstances that demonstrate leadership or initiative

Completed applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026.
