North Central Missouri College (NCMC) announces the retirement of Dr. John Holcomb from the NCMC Board of Trustees after more than two decades of distinguished service. In recognition of his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the college, Dr. Holcomb was awarded Trustee Emeritus status upon his retirement in April 2026.
Dr. Holcomb has served as a dedicated Trustee for NCMC since 2005, following his earlier service as a board member for the Trenton R-IX School District. His tenure reflects a lifelong dedication to education, community engagement, and public service. Throughout his years on the Board of Trustees, Dr. Holcomb played an integral role in guiding the institution’s mission and supporting opportunities that enhance student success.
In addition to his leadership as a Trustee, Dr. Holcomb has been a steadfast supporter of NCMC athletics. His passion for NCMC and its students led to his recognition as a Distinguished Alumnus and his induction into the NCMC Athletic Hall of Fame, honors that reflect his lasting influence on the institution both academically and athletically.
