What you will need to complete the FAFSA:

• A Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) to sign FAFSA electronically (for all contributors)
•  Income Information
  •  Federal tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned
  • Asset Information
    • Amount of child support received in past year
    • Value of cash, savings, and checking
    • Net worth of investments
    • Net worth of any business/farms (if over 100 employees, or if farm is not where the family resides)
  • List of federal benefits received
• List of colleges (up to 20)
•  Dependent students will also need this information for their parent(s)
