Available to Reservists or National Guard Members who are actively drilling, have a 6 year obligation in the Selected Reserve, successfully complete initial active duty for training and remain in good standing while serving.
- Eligible for up to (36) months of benefits
- Pays a monthly stipend in arrears to the student
- Student is responsible for paying tuition and fees to the school
- Can be used in combination with State Tuition Assistance
- Must verify enrollment in the WAVE system every month

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Services (Service-Connected Disabled Veterans) Available to veterans who have a VA service-connected disability rating of 10% with a serious employment handicap or 20% or more with an employment handicap. The VA Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors determine eligibility and authorize education benefits.
- Assists with service-connected disabilities to prepare for, find and keep suitable jobs
- Provides rehabilitation evaluation to determine abilities, skills and interests
- Offers post-secondary training at a college, vocational, technical or business school
- Pays tuition, fees, books and supplies directly to the school
- In some cases, pays a monthly housing allowance in arrears to the student
Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Service Members and Veterans)
Available to service members and veterans who served at least 90 aggregate days on active duty after 9/10/2001, or those who were discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 continuous days. All payments are based on service percentage level.
- Eligible for up to (36) months of benefits
- Pays tuition and costs directly to the school
- Pays a book stipend to the student
- Pays a monthly housing allowance to the student

Post 9/11 GI Bill® Transfer of Entitlement “TOE” (Dependents)
Available to children and spouses of service members who were found eligible to receive Post 9/11 education benefits and transferred all or some of their unused benefits to a dependent while on active duty. All payments are based on the service percentage level.
- Eligible for up to (36) months of benefits or amount transferred to dependent
- Pays tuition and costs directly to the school
- Pays a book stipend to the student
- Pays a monthly housing allowance to the student

Post 9/11 GI Bill® Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship “FRY” (Dependents)
Available to children and spouses of those who die in the line of duty on or after 9/11/2001, to use the Post 9/11 education benefit. All payments are based on the 100% service percentage level.

- Speak to your Educational Services Officer or counselor within your military branch prior to enrolling in school
- There are certain rules regarding when you are eligible to use State Tuition Assistance
- You can combine State TA with Chapter 1606 VA Education Benefits
- Students should apply for State TA prior to every semester with the unit commander’s approval
- Provide Bursar with a copy of the State TA Authorization Letter

Missouri Returning Heroes Act (Certain Combat Veterans)
The Missouri Returning Heroes Act provides reduced tuition for certain combat veterans attending public institutions of higher education in the State of Missouri. POST 9/11 MONTHLY HOUSING ALLOWANCE RULES
- Students enrolled half-time or less and using Post 9/11 education benefits will not receive a monthly housing allowance.
- Active duty service members and their spouses using Post 9/11 education benefits are not eligible to receive a monthly housing allowance under this education benefit due to them already receiving a basic allowance for housing from the military.
