If you are a guest in need of accommodations, NCMC staff will be available prior to the ceremony to assist you. If you are a student, and need special accommodations during the march or ceremony, please contact the Accessibility Services Office at 1-660-357-6405.
Sign Language
An American Sign Language interpreter will be present during Commencement.
Wheelchair Information & Access
All public entrances to the Ketcham Community Center are ramped for wheelchair access. Once inside the Ketcham Community Center, visitors with special needs will be assisted by one of the ushers for proper seating. Please note that there is limited seating and guests seated in handicap seating will be allowed to have one guest sit with them.
Items to Bring and Not Bring to the Ceremony
Please bring a camera, a smile, and enthusiasm to celebrate our graduates.
Prohibited items:
- Noise markers, including air horns and cow bells
- Balloons
- Backpacks or large bags
Please note that NCMC is a smoke-free campus and alcohol is prohibited.
Trenton
Trenton is the seat of Grundy County, with a population of 6,001. It is located at the junction of Highway 6 and 65 in north central Missouri. Trenton is approximately 90 miles NE of Kansas City and 30 miles south of the Missouri/Iowa state line.
Trenton continues to grow and develop. It is comprised of various industry, education, agriculture, and retail trade. Annual events such as the Missouri Day Festival, Trick-or-Treat Night, Community Pride Day, and other activities create a warm, welcoming environment for community members and visitors.
Parking
Limited parking will be available for guests immediately south of the Ketcham Community Center, in the parking lot north of Selby and parking lot south of Alexander and Frey. Additional parking is available behind (east of) of Geyer Hall.
Handicap parking is available in the parking lot north of the Ketcham Community Center. For visitors who must park in handicapped spaces, please be sure to bring your personal State Handicapped Parking tag or verification of it. This tag or tag verification will allow you to park in a handicap space on campus.
