North Central Missouri College supports an integrated system that promotes an accessible environment. Pursuant to both federal and state laws, we strive to make a continuous effort to comply ADA’s Section 508 laws. Section 508 is a federal law that requires agencies to provide individuals with disabilities equal access to electronic information and data comparable to those who do not have disabilities unless an undue burden would be imposed on the agency. These standards are technical requirements for the criteria used to measure conformance within this law. The NCMC domain is structured with semantic markup and HTML5 that aims for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 levels A and AA.
The NCMC website is monitored by SiteImprove for a wide range of issues, including accessibility and page content errors.
