North Central Missouri College supports an integrated system that promotes an accessible environment. Pursuant to federal, state, and international laws, NCMC strives to make a continuous effort to comply.  Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is a federal law that requires agencies to provide individuals with disabilities equal access to electronic information and data comparable to those who do not have disabilities unless an undue burden would be imposed on the agency.  Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that public entities to provide fully accessible digital content with few exceptions.  NCMC recruits from the EU market and is required to provide accessible digital services and content in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) of the European Union (EU). These laws provide technical requirements for the criteria used to measure conformance. The ncmissouri.edu domain aims for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) levels A and AA.

The NCMC website is monitored by SiteImprove for a wide range of issues, including accessibility and page content errors.
