Kyler Preston, from Gilman City, MO, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Student for September. He is a Missouri A+ scholarship student pursuing his associate in arts degree with an emphasis in sports management and plans to graduate in May.
At NCMC, Kyler is a student ambassador and a tutor at the Tutoring Center. His favorite class is Intro to Sports Management with Instructor Ryan Suttenfield. Kyler said, “I really enjoyed the class and learned a lot. It’s what I want to go into, so it was interesting to me.”
Kyler chose NCMC because it is affordable and close to home. His favorite things about NCMC are the small class sizes and the instructors. Kyler went on to say, “You are a person, not a number at NCMC.”
Each month, a student is nominated by a faculty or staff member to be featured as an Outstanding Student based on their dedication to educational success, attitude toward learning, and hard work in their field and activities.
