The North Central Missouri College (NCMC) Library continues its tradition of celebrating student creativity by recently acquiring several outstanding pieces of artwork from NCMC students. These newly purchased pieces include Tony by JJ Minnick, What a Woman by Rusk Munoz, Blue Dress by Crow Regan—all from Chillicothe, MO—and Lady Bug by Logan Reeter from Jamesport, MO.
Since 2003, the NCMC Library has proudly supported student artists by purchasing and displaying their work. Each selected piece is professionally framed, accompanied by a plaque recognizing the artist, and showcased within the library for visitors to enjoy. The artwork is purchased from students enrolled in courses taught by Art Instructor Jim Norris.
“The tradition of acquiring student artwork has allowed the library to highlight remarkable talent while enriching our space with inspiring creations,” said Dr. Beth Caldarello, Director of Library Services. “Our students are exceptionally gifted, and we are honored to feature their work.”
