North Central Missouri College is proud to announce that Maggie Bowman of Trenton, MO, (hometown St. Joseph, MO), has been named the new NCMC Campus Store Director. A graduate of NCMC, Maggie earned her Associate in Applied Science–Business and has spent the past decade serving students through her work in the Campus Store.
Throughout her tenure, Maggie has been instrumental in transforming how students access course materials, making them more affordable, accessible, and aligned with academic needs. By championing smarter systems and forward-thinking solutions, she has helped eliminate barriers and ensure students have the tools to succeed.
Dr. Lenny Klaver, NCMC President, shared, “Thanks to her extensive experience and deep understanding of our Campus Store operations, Maggie is perfectly suited to lead as we open our new Student Center location and expand services to better serve our students.”
Maggie officially stepped into her new role on July 1, 2025, following the retirement of longtime Director Cecilia Marsh. Reflecting on Cecilia’s 28 years of service, Dr. Klaver added, “I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Cecilia for her unwavering commitment to NCMC. She played an essential role in shaping the store and was a pillar of our campus community. Her leadership and dedication will not be forgotten.”
In her own words, Maggie shared, “I’m excited to bring fresh ideas and proven strategies to improve how students access course materials. I look forward to creating a store environment that’s not only welcoming but also focused on affordability and efficiency. By building strong relationships with faculty, staff, and vendors, I plan to streamline operations and ensure the store supports the academic mission while meeting student needs more effectively.”
The Campus Store, currently located at 121 East Ninth Street in Trenton, will soon relocate to the brand-new Nuttall Student Center on NCMC’s Main Campus. For updates and more information, visit ncmissouri.edu.
