Marissa Buckallew, Resident Coordinator, Assistant Softball Coach, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for September. Marissa, an NCMC alum from Trenton, MO (hometown Lancaster, MO), has worked at NCMC for two years and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Marissa describes her job as “impactful, busy, and rewarding.” When asked about her favorite thing about NCMC, Marissa said, “My favorite thing about NCMC is how when I came back, everyone was so helpful. I have some amazing people I get to work with!” In the future, Marissa anticipates growing housing demand due to the growth of more athletics and enrollment. Marissa said, “In softball, we have some amazing athletes, and the Derry facility helps us get so much work in when we can’t get outside. Every year will be better, and NCMC helps make this possible with all the upgrades they are making every year.”
When not at work, you can find Marissa with her family or playing slow-pitch softball. Marissa also enjoys going to concerts and traveling.
