Rustin Jumps, Agriculture Instructor and Barton Farm Manager, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for August. Rustin, from Gallatin, MO, has worked at NCMC for 16 years and holds a master’s and an education specialist degree.
Rustin describes his job as “hands-on learning.” When asked about his favorite thing about NCMC, Rustin said the family-like atmosphere. During his tenure at NCMC, Rustin has expanded program offerings and added agricultural faculty to help prepare students and meet the demands of the agricultural workforce. In the future, Rustin anticipates increased enrollment through expanded program offerings in precision agriculture and CDL training. He would like to expand the Barton Farm Campus facilities and buildings to enhance current programs and create opportunities for future program offerings.
When not at work, you can find Rustin spending time with his family and working in his auction business. Rustin also enjoys quail hunting and rodeo.
