Kendra Holt from Kansas City, Missouri has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Student. Kendra is a sophomore A+ student and after graduating from NCMC, Kendra plans to transfer to continue her bachelor’s degree and play softball.

Kendra is a softball player for the Lady Pirates and works at the NCMC Library. Kendra said, “I love that NCMC is in a small town. It’s been better than I ever imagined. My favorite thing is the homey atmosphere. Since coming here, I haven’t been homesick. I’ve had a lot of fun and met so many people.”

Kendra, a Business Management major, enjoys any business class, especially Business Communication with Sarah Bird. “Mrs. Bird is dope, she makes class interesting and enjoyable,” said Kendra.

Each month, a student is nominated by a faculty or staff member to be featured as an Outstanding Student based on their dedication to educational success, attitude toward learning, and hard work in their field and activities.
