September 26, 2018

Over thirty North Central Missouri College Agriculture & Natural Resources students demonstrated skills and techniques at Elizabeth & Arthur Barton Farm Campus during Open House held on September 19, 2018.  Students demonstrated animal handling, crop yield testing, drone demonstrations, and various other agriculture expertise.
Attendees heard remarks at the Hoffman-Robbins Shelter House from Student Senate President Jamee Scearce, Rustin Jumps, Barton Farm Manager/NCMC Agriculture Instructor, and NCMC Foundation President Allan Seidel.  “We wanted to showcase what our students are learning, highlight recent additions to the farm including the Epperson Grazing Paddocks, Hoffman-Robbins Shelter House, Whitley Natural Habit Area, and five memorial benches,” commented NCMC Director of Development Alicia Endicott.  “Student success is our number one goal, and the Barton Farm Campus helps NCMC students be successful and sharing with the public highlights their achievements.”
